John's death on 17 Feb 1848 was reported³⁸⁵ "near Limington."

William T Folsom "of Augusta," Louisa's brother, was the administrator³²⁶ for John H's estate, "Limington." On August 1, 1850, it appears that Folsom recorded a judgement related to the administration of the estate against "S. Veazie" for nearly $550.

In a rare occurrence, Louisa and children appear in two census records in 1850. On 14 Aug, Louisa, Nancy, Sewell and Edward are enumerated in Augusta, probably their home. On 26 Aug, Louisa T, Nancy A, Sewell L and John E are listed in the household of Louisa's brother Robert H Folsom, along with their parents Jeremiah and Nancy, in Vienna, ME, perhaps visiting.
