Family of Folsom Munro VEAZIE and Doris Anita MCGOWAN

Married 1939 Apr 8 at Belfonte, Centre Co., PA. Munro and Doris were married by a Justice of the Peace near College Park, Pennsylvania, where Munro was attending Penn State University.

Munro originally worked for Owens-Corning at the insulation factory in Newark, OH, and later at the technical center in Granville, OH, as Manager of New Glass Development where he registered several patents for glass composition and glass preparation techniques.

Munro was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Granville, and both he and Doris were officers in Eastern Star.

Doris served as a census supervisor for the Granville area during the 1960 census.

Munro died of complcations of Alzheimer's Disease. Doris was diagnosed with brain cancer in the summer of 1987 and died quietly in the home of her daughter Barbara in Berea.
