Sources 355, 388 and 394 apparently incorrectly have Wildes Walker's birth year as 1894. More reliably, his birth record⁸²⁵ and passport application⁶⁴⁵ have 1893. Just to confuse matters, his World War II draft registration card, registered Apr 25, 1942, has his age as 46, and born Nov 28, 1895.

Wildes was living with his parents in 1900 and 1910. In 1920, he, a broker salesman, and his wife Charlotte, an accountant for American Telephone, were living with her parents in Manhattan.

Charlotte is listed in several records as "Charlotte R." As her grandmother is listed¹⁷²⁶ as "Charlotte Ramsey Sutliffe," her middle name is assumed from that.

Charlotte's obituary⁴²⁸⁵ mentions surviving daughters Mary Elizabeth Krieger and Charlotte Anne Manganello; and son Wildes Walker Jr. Also mentioned are grandchildren Paula Krieger, Joanne O'Rourke, Lawrence and Russel Manganello, Beth Lambright, and William and Robert Veazie. Great-grandchildren: James P Krieger, Melissa Joy and Christopher James Lambright.
