Francis and Harriet were married by Albert Tyler, Universalist clergyman.

Sprague841 has Francis' birthdate Oct 16 1832. In 1850, Francis resided with his father, and was a sash & blind maker. In 1860, Francis (no wife present), a stone cutter, was living in the household of Samuel and Harriet Stone. Harriet, nee Veazie, was Francis cousin, the daughter of John and Betsey (Pratt) Veazie. Betsey, Harriet's mother, was residing there, also. Frank Veazie of Granite st., is mentioned in the 1905 obituary3199 of his brother Warren Veazie.

Francis died4208 at the age of 85y 19d of heart failure "incident to advanced age." His death certificate lists his occupation as retired granite cutter, and the informant was Miss Sarah E Veazie, daughter, of the same address as his residence and death.

Harriet E A Veazie died2613 Jun 27, 1885, in Quincy, MA, of apoplexy, at the age of 50y 8m. Her birthdate is calculated from that information. Sprague841 has her birthdate Oct 30, 1834.

Sarah resided with her father through 1910 in Quincy, MA. Following her father's death, she resided774 in Quincy, MA, at the same address (29 Granite St) in 1920. She is incorrectly listed as a widow.

Sarah died2469 in St Petersburg, single, at the age of 59y 1m 18d. That death record lists her birth and death dates and places, and her father Francis Veazie. She was buried2469 in Quincy, Massachusetts, 24 Feb 1924.

An article in the Boston Globe, Sun, 2 Mar 1924, p 12, "Bequests to Charity in Will of Quincy Woman," dateline "Dedham, March 1," states that the will of Sarah E Veazie of Quincy, was filed in probate court that day and provided bequests to: Sarah E French, Warren G Veazie, Mary L Veazie, Ella F Dailey, Nellie M Hartley, and several charitable organizations. The will was drawn May 27, 1921, and executor was Charles H Wilson.
