The newspaper article referenced for the marriage of Cyrus and Martha mentions only the date and that it was Martha's second marriage.

From the census records, it appears that both Cyrus' parents were born in Connecticut. His death date or location is unknown. The newspaper article³⁰³¹ describing the family of John and Mindwell Brown Veazie has Cyrus' name as "Allyn."

In 1850, Cyrus and Martha Allen are living in Rochester¹⁸⁵⁰, he was a marble cutter and had several boarders in the house. In 1860, Cyrus doesn't seem to appear and Martha, now named Veazie, is living with her parents in Rochester¹⁸²⁵. In the 1870 census¹⁸²⁴ Martha (now "Allen") and Cyrus are living in the household of Margaret Veazie, assumed to be Martha's mother. In 1880, "Minell" Veasey is living in the household of Cyrus and Martha Allen.
