Jennie Veazie Barnard submitted a DAR lineage, listing herself as the wife of George W G Kinney and the daughter of Job and Huldah Veazie Barnard. George Kinney's obituary¹⁸⁶⁸ relates that he and Jennie were married in the house where Geroge passed away.

In her DAR lineage⁶⁸⁸ Jennie lists herself as Jennie Veazie Kinney, born New York, wife of George W. G. Kinney and daughter of Job Barnard and Huldah Veazie, his wife. She lists her grandmother's name as Mary Darling, vs Mary Havens.

George Bond Kinney died in infancy.

Child 2. Samuel "Ward"

Samuel Wardwell Kinney, who died at the age of 35, apparently had great potential. He was graduated¹⁸⁷¹ from Princeton University, NJ, in 1894, Cum Laude, with High Honors in English. His obituary¹⁸⁷⁵ states he also received an M. A. in English History from Princeton. He was a graduate student¹⁸⁷⁴ 1894-95 at Johns Hopkins University. He went on to graduate¹⁸⁷² from Harvard University in 1897 with a Masters of Arts. His death date was reported both by Princeton University¹⁸⁷⁰ and Harvard¹⁸⁷³. Before his death, he was attended by Dr Thayer, one-time chair of medicine at Johns Hopkins. At the time of his death, he was head master at the Country School for Boys, Baltimore, MD, having taught English there starting in 1901 and appointed head master in 1903. His obituary mentions his parents, one surviving sister, Mrs Murray P Brush, and a half-sister, Mrs David Ellwood Williams of Baltimore.
