Edwin's full name and birth date are given on his WWI draft registration²²¹. His nearest relative is Shirley Veazie Britton. Also, the passenger list¹⁹⁷⁹ for the SS Caledonia, sailing from Havana, Cuba, to Port of New York, Mar 1932, lists Nicholas' and Shirley's birthplaces and full birthdates. The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania (Masonic), www.pagrandlodge.org, lists a Nicholas E Britton as Past Master in 1914.

Shirley Clark Veazie graduated from the Brockport (NY) State Normal School, June 27, 1899 (Roch. NY Democrate and Chronicle, June 28, 1899; fultonhistory.com).

Helen apparently lived with her parents often. In 1932 she sailed¹⁹⁹⁰ to Bermuda, the passenger list giving her year and location of birth, and her address, the same address listed for her parents when they sailed¹⁹⁷⁹ to Havana that year. In 1940, she was a "guest" at the YWCA in Passaic, NJ. At that time she was a stenographer for an insurance company. Her previous address (1935) was Rutherford, NJ. In 1950, Helen Veazie Britton of 503 Jefferson Ave, Clearwater, Florida, sailed¹⁹⁸⁹ from Naples to Quebec. She was still living¹⁷¹ at that address at the time of her death.
