Robert's WWII draft registration2158 lists his full name. Robert graduated from The Ohio State University in 1913 with degrees in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. He served in WWI with the US Navy. He was appointed LtJG, Dec 14, 1917; attended the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, 1918; assigned to duty on the SS South Dakota Feb 1, 1918. While he was assigned to the South Dakota, he married Mildred. Their marriage record lists his residence at the time as the South Dakota.
