Married1782 1849 May 155252 at Canada. Jesse's obituary5252 mentions the marriage date for Jesse and Clara. That obituary states they were married, and that Jesse moved to Iowa in the fall of 1867; his wife and family followed a year later. From that information, and the birthplace of daughter Carrie, it is assumed they were married in Canada.
The marriage record for daughter Carrie to Maurice C Veazie lists her parents names, but not her mother's maiden name.
Jesse died of "mortification" of his foot (gangrene?). He was survived by children Mrs M C Veazie of Boston; H. A. Kezar of Chicago; and F. H. Kezar of Nashua.
Clara's full name is given in the obituary5252 of husband Jesse Kezar. That July 1900 obituary states that his wife died "nearly two years ago." Her death date is estimated from that information.
