Their wedding announcement4006 states that the marriage took place at the home of the bride's grandmother. Edward and Anna were married by Rev W V TeWinkle of the Congregational Presbyterian Church.

The 1930 census for Syracuse, NY, lists Edward Skelton, age 25, born NY and a civil engineer, as the son of William N and Rosa Skelton, both born in England. Edward's father was, at that time, a supervisor for the New York Central Railroad.

Edward was a graduate4006 of Syracuse University (Class of 1927) and worked as a civil engineer for the New York Central Railroad.
Anna's middle name is listed in her birth index1773 entry. She was the daughter of Chauncy Edgar Barott and Florence Gertrude Avery. Anna attended Syracuse University and, following her marriage, worked for the Crouse-Hinds Company in Syracuse in a secretarial position.
