Hobart Holly, historian of Christ Church, Quincy, MA, and the Quincy (MA) Historical Society, in a letter4226 to "Mrs Arno Luehman" of Los Angeles, CA, mentioned the Hardwick family of Germantown as being "of [her] line." The birthdate in the SSDI92 for Constance H Luehman matches the birthdate for Constance Hardwick. In addition, her birthdate also matches the burial information1817 for Constance Luehman, identified as the wife of Maj Gen (USAF) Arno H Luehman, both buried in the Arlington National Cemetery (Arlington, VA).

In 1930, Constance resided1300 with her mother Mabelle (widow), and her brother Paul.

In 1945, Constance resided with her husband Arno H Luehman, and her mother Mabelle Hardwick. Constance is listed as having a college education.

An April, 1959, issue of the Ninety-Nines (International Organization of Women Pilots) (http://www.ninety-nines.org/pdf/newsmagazine/195904.pdf) listed Constance Hardwick Luehman in the "99 Memberhip List" in the Middle East Section (Washington, DC), with an address in Alexandria, VA. She is later in the newsletter described as an enthusiast and prospective member, a member of the Mats Flying club.

In 1975, Constance Hardwick Luehman wrote a letter (examined at Quincy, 2016, by Bruce J Veazie) to the Quincy Historical Society, including a certificate dated April 1857 from John Quincy Adams, secretary of the school committee to Martha Ann Veazie (Constance' grandmother.) H. Hobart Holly of the Quincy Historical Society responded4226 to her, providing a brief description of her Hardwick line. He also stated that the John Quincy Adams who signed the certificate was the grandson of President John Quincy Adams.
