Married³²¹⁹ 1924³²¹⁹ at (prob) Boston, MA³²¹⁹. The 1940 census lists Wales H Andrews with wife Janet L Andrews. The Mass. Marriage Index³²¹⁹ lists entries for Wales H(Henry) Andrews and Jane L(Louise) Hobart, 1924, in the towns of Boston, Braintree, and Middleborough, MA, with the same volume and page number for each. As marriages were commonly recorded in the towns of birth for each person, as well as the town of marriage, Boston appears to be the place of marriage; Wales was born in Middleborough, and Jane was born in Braintree.

In 1914, Wales was a teacher for the City of Newton, MA. In 1930, Wales was a cranberry grower, apparently working for his father who, that year was the proprietor of "shoe store and cranberry bog." Wales is listed as married at the age of 36, but his wife isn't in evidence. In 1940, Wales and wife Jane L Andrews, resided in Wareham, MA. His occupation was operator of a cranberry bog. His 1942 draft registration¹⁷⁰ provides his middle name. That card lists a person who will always know his address as Jane L Andrews. A 1948 cruise ship passenger list⁴²³⁵ lists Wales, age 60, as single.

Although Wales appears in the 1930 census for Middleborough, MA, as married, Jane hasn't been found in that census.
