Married1728 1912 Nov 171728 at Newburgh, NY1728. Nettie and Nathaniel were married by Jonathan Huske, priest. Witnesses were Helen E Sears and J H Middleton. The marriage license was granted Nov 10, 1912.

One year after their marriage, Grant's parents held a reception4316 in Elmhurst, NY, to celebrate the first anniversary of the couple. Among those attending were Mrs C C Sears and Master Harry Sears, of Newburgh, and Mr and Mrs F D Sears, of Manhattan.

It doesn't appear that Nettie and Grant had any children.

Grant is listed in records variously as Nathaniel Grant, Nathaniel G, N Grant and Grant Nixon. His WWI draft registration221 lists him as a sheet iron worker.

In 1900, "Mettie N." is listed as the daughter of Charles and Laura Sears. In 1910, she is listed as Nettie M, clerk in a dry goods store. A 1912 marriage record1728 for a daughter of Charles C and Laura (Ackerman) Sears has her name Nettie Mailler. That marriage record lists Nettie's birthplace and occupation of saleslady.
