The obituary4362 for Dewey M Polmanteer mentions their marriage date and place.

Dewey's obituary4362 mentions his parents, Albert Burton and Emma (Kidder) Polmanteer. Dewey attended Ingleside school, and was engaged in farming until 1917, when he began working at the Curtis Works in Hammondsport. Later he worked at the Corning Glass Works. In 1920, he accepted a position with Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, and retired from there in January, 1948, due to ill health.

Dewey was elected mayor of Savona in 1944, and held that office until 1947. He was a member of the Savona Engine and Hose Company, a member of the Ingleside Grange, and was associated with the Christian Church of Ingleside and the Savona Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, daughters Mrs William C Benedict and Donna Polmanteer; two sons, Frederick and William; a grandchild Susan Kay Benedict; two sisters, Mrs George Wheaton and Mrs Hiram Lyon; and a brother Ervie Polmanteer.
