Ernestine Myra HAYDEN b. 1884 Jul¹⁸⁶⁵ at New York¹⁸⁶⁵. d. 1936 Feb 1⁴⁷²¹ at at home, 203 E Linden St, Rome, NY⁴⁷²¹. bd. Rome Cem., Rome, NY⁸⁴⁰.

Married⁴⁷¹⁵ 1925 May 29⁴⁷¹⁵ at Zion Episcopal Ch., Rome, NY⁴⁷⁵. Mrs Ernestine Herrman and Bert Baker were married by Rev Edmund H Carhart, Jr., rector. Mr and Mrs Lyle Flack were attendants.

In 1930, Bert Baker Sr was an engineer at a creosote? plant. On Jan 22, 1940, Bert was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage on his way to work at the Federal Creosoting plant in Rome, where he had worked for 21 years. Later that day, he passed away at his home in Verona.

Bert was married 3 times: 1) Miss Anna Smith, who died Feb 22, 1924; 2) Ernestine Herrman, who died Feb 1, 1936; 3) Mildred Willoughby, whom he married Dec 17, 1938, in Verona. Mildred survived him.

The U S Social Security Application³³⁴⁶ for Doris Herrman Grow lists her mother as Myra E Hayden.

Appearing as Ernestine in the 1900 census¹⁸⁶⁵, when she lived with her parents, and as Ernestine on her marriage license and certificate for her marriage to Charles Herrman, she appears in several census records and her obituary⁴⁷²¹ as "M. Ernestine …"

Ernestine suffered a stroke⁴⁷²¹ Nov 7, 1935, apparently attributing to her sudden death at the age of 51 on Feb 1 of the following year. She was a member o the Zion Episcopal Church and, earlier in her life, played the organ of that church.
