Alderman Herrick married¹⁴⁷⁶ Theda Ann Sweet, Dec 5, 1825, in Geauga Co., OH. Hillman⁸⁰⁰ has Theda's death as 1842, and Alderman's death as 1847.

In 1850, Vashti Herrick appears⁸³⁶ as head of household in Mentor, OH, with 4 young children: Ervilla, age 12; Ebenezer, age 12; Alderman, age 5; and William, age 3.
