Family of David Louis WILLIAMSON and Sarah Ann CHISHOLM

David Louis WILLIAMSON b. 1830 Oct 185649 at Quaker Street, Schenectady Co., NY5496. d. 1916 Oct 285690 at home of daughter, Mrs W E Lamphier, Canisteo, NY5690. bd. Riverside Cem., Cameron, NY5498.
Sarah Ann CHISHOLM b. 1832 Apr 255587 at New York5656.

David Williamson is listed variously as a farmer, butcher, justice of the peace, and a tin peddler.

An 1873 land ownership map5716 forCameron, NY, shows "D L Williamson" on the northeast corner of what is today Cameron River Road and Bath Cameron Road.

In Oct, 1916, several days short of his 86th birthday, David fell5691 when arising5691, at the home of his daughter Ada, Mrs W E "Lamphere", critically injuring himself. David had begun living with his daughter following the death of his (third) wife (Millicent Robbins) a few months prior to his fall. On Oct 28, 1916, David L Williamson, at the age of 86 years and 10 days, died5690 at 2 AM at his daughter's house. Though he had been failing for several months, his death was apparently a direct result of that fall.
