Interestingly, Charles is listed in several sources as "Charles Loring, Jr" although his father is listed in several sources as "Charles B." Charles L Veazie is listed in the 1935, 1938 and 1939 Rockland directory as Register of Probate Court for Knox County, res. Rockport, wife Effie L. In the Rockport directory, 1935, he was proprietor of the Veazie Whittier Electrical Company ("Radios",) home and shop, 49 Russell Ave. His biography2503 states that he began his business career as an employee of the New England Telephone Co.; he also served as United States Deputy Shipping Commissioner at Rockport. He was a salesman for the National Biscuit Company for two years, after which he was town (Rockport) treasurer for five years. He was elected to the office of town clerk (Rockport), maintaining simultaneoulsy an electrical business. In Sept, 1926, he was elected for four years as Register of Probate for the county.
Charles died4902 Jun 21, 1942, in Rockport, ME. His obituary mentions that he was Knox county register of probate.
Husband Charles' biography2503 lists Effie as the daughter of Enos and Marion (Upham) Ingraham. In 1935, Effie is listed on the Town of Rockport, municipal board of mothers aid.
