Samuel may be the Samuel M Veazie, age 18, listed in 1870 in the household of John Broomfield. Samuel was, in 1900, a bookkeeper. Hillman⁸⁰⁰ supplies Samuel's death date, referencing an obituary in the Bangor Daily Commercial, 5 Mar 1913.

The only reasonable candidates for Frances' parents are Thaddeus and Mary Badershall, both born Maine, with whom Frances Badershall, age 4, was living in 1860 in Brewer, ME. In that census is also listed in the household Frederick Badersahll, age 1. In 1870, Frances, age 14, and Frederick, age 11, are residing in the household of Thaddeus and Martha Badershall. Other research indicates that Thaddeus Badershall married 14 January, 1869, Winterport, Maine, Martha L Curtis. If Thaddeus and Mary were Frances' parents, Mary Badershall may have died between 1860 and 1869. In 1900, Frances is mother of 4, 4 living. Frances' death date and place are provided by Hillman⁸⁰⁰ from an obituary for Frances E Veazie in the Bangor Daily Commercial, 1 Nov 1935.
