In 1935 and 1937, the New London directory lists Samuel (spouse Hattie M) as a papermaker in Montville. Hattie's Connecticut Death Index entry (1953) lists her as a widow.
Sam's WWI draft registration card lists "Hattie May Veazie - wife." In 1942, Sam's WWII draft registration lists "Hattie" as someone who will always know his address.
