Smith, clergyman, M. E. Church, Rockport, Me. That record also lists the brides name as Katharine Stanhope Banks, and lists her parents' names, including her mother's maiden name.
Earle Charles Dow's full name is given on his WWI draft registration card. In 1920, Earle is listed as an insurance agent. In 1918, his job was clerk for Francis Cobb Shipbuilding. In 1930, his occupation is newspaper reporter. His son (Earle S Dow) states his father was an accountant, worked for the Bangor Daily News and the Portland Press Herald, and sold insurance for the Federal Life and Casualty Insurance Co. of Portland.
