JOHN BIDELERa was the son of GEORGE BIDELER and AMY BROWNa,d. He was born abt 1794 in Pennsylvaniab,j,l. He married in Hornby, NY, 2 Feb 1813 or 1814, LUCY A. PLATTf, born abt 1796 in Connecticutl. They moved to Campbell, Steuben Co., NY, abt 1816l and lived there most of their lives.

The headstones [c] are very weathered. It may be that Charles d. 1841, Henry d. 1848 or the ages at death are incorrect.

*The appearance of Henry Bideler in 1850 (ref e) of age 25 does not support his death date as calculated from his headstone. It must be assumed, however, that he was, in fact,
alive on the enumeration date for that census, 10 Aug 1850. His death would be more accurately be "aft Jul 1850."
