JOHN H. VEAZIE (son of Stephen Veazie, Sr.) was born 13 Nov 1808a, prob in Mainea. He died after 1844c and probably before 1850. He married LOUISA T. FOLSOMb on or after 28 Apr 1840, probably in Mount Vernone or Augusta (both Kennebec Co.), MEc. She was the daughter of JEREMIAH and NANCY (THOMAS) FOLSOMd,c and the sister of SARAH C. FOLSOMd, wife of John's brother STEPHEN VEAZIE, JR. Louisa was born 6 Jan 1817d and died 2 Jan 1852d. In 1850, Louisa is listed in both the census for Vienna, ME, in the household of her father and mother and next door to her brother ROBERT HILCON FOLSOM; and the census for Augusta, ME, herself and her three children, next door to her brother, WILLIAM THOMAS FOLSOM. The various relationships between the Folsom and Veazie families is mentioned in a legal notice following the death of ROBERT W. FOLSOM, the son of ROBERT H. FOLSOM.
