Emily and Charles were married by Samuel H Noon, clergyman of Highlandville.

In 1880, Charles was listed as a fireman on a railroad, In 1884 (Annie's birth record) ,1900, and 1910, he is listed as a painter. In 1920, wife Emily is listed as widowed.

AVB²⁷⁸⁶ has birthdate April 3. Emily's birth record, and her death certificate, for which Mrs Jacob C Kurzig (her daughter) was the informant, has her birthdate Apr 2, 1849. In 1900, Emily's birthdate is listed as Apr 1853. As she appears as age 1 in 1850, that is clearly incorrect. Emily died at home, 1217 Bancroft St, Pt Huron, MI, of cerebral apoplexy, contributed to by arteriosclerosis.
