Their marriage year is indicated5735 by the 1900 census for Clmer Twp., PA, in which they are listed as married 35 years. The location of their marriage is a guess based on the birth place of the oldest child.
Horatio served5737 in the U S Civil War with B-136, Pa Inf. He was declared an invalid, Jun 6, 1878, his widow, Sarah L Chisom, filed Jul 7 1913.
Horatio died at the age of 79y 2m 26d of exhaustion due to old age. He was married and his occupation was carpenter. "F. N." Chisolm [his son Frank], Sabinsville, PA, was the informant. The death certificate4989 of his son John M Chisom provides Horatio's birth place.
On his 1918 WWI draft registration card221, son Frank lists his nearest relative as "Sarrah" L Chisom, Sabinsville, Pa.
Sarah's full name appears on the marriage license1728 for son Frank to Minnie A Carr. Her birthplace is listed on the death certficate4989 of her son John M Chisom.
