Ephriam CHISSOM b. 1795~⁵⁵⁹¹ at Yates Co., NY⁵⁶⁹². d. 1879 May⁵⁷⁰⁶ at Cameron, NY⁵⁷⁰⁶.
Sarah (Sally) MILLS b. 1799~⁵⁷⁰⁸ at Saratoga Co., NY⁵⁶⁹². d. bef 1870.

Married⁵⁶³⁵ 1815 Aug 7⁵⁶³⁵ at Benton, NY²⁶³⁵. McGowan⁵⁵⁸⁷ has the parents of Sarah Ann Chisholm as Ephraim Chisholm and Sally Mills.

A history of Yates County⁵⁷¹² for the town of Benton, has Ephraim as the son of Robert Chissom and Susan Wheeler, and that Ephraim married Sally Mills and settled in Cameron, Steuben county.

McGowan⁵⁷⁰⁶ cites the May 16, 1879, issue of the Corning Journal: "reports death of Ephraim Chissom, an old resident of Cameron."

Sally's maiden name appears on the death certificate⁴⁹⁸⁹ for son Horatio.

In the 1865 census⁵⁵⁸⁶ for Cameron, NY, Sarah Chisom is listed as the mother of 13 children. Sarah does not appear in the 1870 census, when Ephraim resided in the household of son Robert. From that information, she is assumed to have passed away sometime between 1865 and 1870.
